There has been a spate of fictitious offers of cheap funds in recent times from fraudsters in form of Lotteries, Money Circulation schemes etc., These offers come through letters, e-mails, mobile phones, SMS, etc. Fraudsters seek money from gullible people, under different heads, such as, processing fees/ transaction fees/ tax clearance charges/ conversion charges, clearing fees, etc to transfer such fictitious money. The fraudsters persuade the victims to deposit such amount into their accounts opened by them in bank branches and these amounts are withdrawn immediately leaving the victims in a quandary. Innocent people have been victims of such teasing offers and have lost huge sums of money in the process. Please be cautious and do not fall prey to such fictitious offers.”

CTS Cheques

In terms of Reserve Bank of India instructions, our Bank is issuing only the CTS cheques to all the customers of our Bank from 29-07-2013 and onwards. Those customers who are still using the old Non-CTS cheques are requested to abstain from using the NON_CTS cheques. These customers are requested to place their cheque book indent with their branch for the issue of CTS cheques for their immediate use.
